Our story

Have you ever read a book to a child and thought: how do I get this kid to pay attention and engage with the story!? That’s precisely the predicament that spurred the creation of our first book. While working at a social services children’s shelter, Kai Reeg thought it difficult at times to keep the kids engaged while being read to, so he looked for a way to create books that help keep the reader and audience interested in the story at hand. Our goal is to bring the vast beauty and mystery of our world to you and your loved ones in a way that readers of all ages will enjoy the journey.

  • Bailey

    SuperMutt

    Bailey is a SuperMutt mix according to her DNA test and she definitely is super! Her favorite thing to do is fetch and her least favorite is bath time. She gives the best snuggles and is the perfect companion for rainy or cold days.

  • Kai Reeg

    Author

    Kai Reeg is the children's book pen name for author Micai Nethercott. Micai has always had an active imagination which has helped enormously with his writing. He resides in Anchorage, Alaska with his partner, dogs, and plants.

  • Buddy

    Drool Machine

    Buddy is your typical Labrador: loyal, friendly, and lovable. Buddy is a very big, but also very good, boi. He loves the water, playing fetch, and spending time with his dad. If you give Buddy a booty scratch, he'll be your best friend forever.
